Safeguard on your phone (beta): what you can do from mobile

The Safeguard mobile app for iOS and Android is in early access beta. What to expect, how it relates to the web app, and how admins keep control.

Security work does not always wait for a laptop. An alert lands while you are away from your desk, and you want to know whether it matters. The Safeguard mobile app is aimed at that moment.

It is in early access, so treat it as beta. It targets iOS and Android. A public launch was targeted for September 2026, but the app is still labelled beta, so expect changes between builds and do not plan a rollout around it yet.

What it is

A mobile client for the same Safeguard account you use in the web app. The platform is chat-first, so the natural way to use it from a phone is to ask. Voice commands are supported, which helps when typing is awkward.

How to use it

  1. Sign in with your Safeguard account.
  2. Ask a question in plain language, such as which projects have critical findings.
  3. Use voice if you prefer to talk.
  4. For heavy work such as editing policies or digging into SBOMs, switch to the web app or the CLI.

The same data sits behind every surface, so an answer on your phone should match what you see on the web. If it does not, tell Safeguard support.

Admin controls

Tenant admins can switch off any client type, mobile included. Teams with a strict device policy can keep the mobile client off until they are ready.

Try it yourself

Ask the same question on your phone and in the web app, for example how many critical vulnerabilities your tenant has. Compare the two answers.

Quick check

Can a tenant admin disable the mobile client?

Yes. Admins can switch off any client type, including mobile.
