Safeguard
Startups & Bootstrapped

Ship secure from day one — without burning runway.

Security shouldn't wait for a Series A. Whether you're venture-backed or bootstrapping on revenue, Safeguard gives early-stage teams the full platform — reachability-based scanning, autonomous remediation, and SBOMs — free or heavily discounted, so you can pass security reviews and win enterprise deals early.

What's included

Full platform access

SCA, SBOM/AIBOM, container & IaC scanning, reachability analysis, and Griffin AI autonomous remediation — the same engine enterprises run.

Free or deeply discounted

Bootstrapped and pre-seed teams can qualify for a free license; funded startups get a substantial discount off standard plans.

Enterprise-ready evidence

Generate the SBOMs, vulnerability reports, and SOC 2-aligned evidence that unblock enterprise procurement and security questionnaires.

Onboarding support

Guided setup so a small team can wire Safeguard into CI/CD and start remediating in an afternoon.

Grow into a paid plan

When you outgrow the program, transition smoothly to Team or Enterprise — no re-implementation.

Community & Academy

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free for bootstrapped companies?

Bootstrapped, pre-seed, and very early teams can qualify for a free license. Funded startups typically receive a significant discount rather than a full waiver. Eligibility is confirmed during a short review.

What's the difference between the startup and bootstrapped tracks?

Both get the full platform. The bootstrapped/indie track is oriented toward free access for tiny, self-funded teams; the funded-startup track offers discounted pricing that scales as you raise and grow.

How long does the program last?

Program terms are set during approval — typically an annual benefit that renews while you remain eligible. When you outgrow it, you move to a standard plan with no re-implementation.

Do I get the autonomous remediation features?

Yes. Program members get Griffin AI Auto-Fix, reachability analysis, and SBOM/AIBOM — the same capabilities as paid plans, so your security posture is real, not a stripped-down trial.
