The phone is the surface you have with you when the alert arrives. Safeguard runs on iPhone and Android phones, including foldables, so the first look at a problem does not need to wait for a laptop.
For current downloads, see the download page.
What it is
The same Safeguard account and data as the web app. Safeguard is chat-first, so the phone experience is mostly a conversation: you ask, Griffin answers, and you act.
Voice is supported too. If you are walking to a meeting, you can ask about a project instead of typing.
How to use it
- Install from the download page guidance and sign in.
- Turn on notifications for the events you actually want to hear about.
- When one arrives, open it, read the finding, and decide whether it is a now or a later.
Good questions for a phone:
- "What changed in my critical findings since yesterday?"
- "Is anything in my products on the known exploited list?"
- "Which projects have a failed scan?"
Foldables
A foldable gives you a phone when closed and a small tablet when open. That fits two modes of work. Closed, you read a notification and answer a quick question. Open, you have enough room to read a finding in full. Nothing about your account or data changes between the two.
What to leave for a bigger screen
Long investigations, comparing many projects, and fixing code. A phone gets you to the right decision fast. It is not where you should do a deep review.
Try it yourself
Pick one question you ask your security tooling every Monday. Ask it by voice from your phone this week. If the answer is good enough to act on, you have saved a trip to the laptop.
Quick check
What kinds of questions suit a phone?
Short status questions and decisions about a single finding. Deep reviews belong on a larger screen.
